Thomas Günther
Growing up in a German bakery, Thomas learned that craftsmanship requires both precision and creativity. Today, he applies these same principles to web development.
He specialises in building creative, accessible websites with interactions that every user can enjoy. His journey from designer to developer gives him a unique perspective: he understands both the creative vision and technical implementation.
When he’s not in front of a screen, you’ll find him reading books, cooking plant-based meals, studying Japanese 漢字, or playing volleyball.

Web Accessibility has an interesting reputation: everyone agrees it matters, but somehow 95.9% of the top million home pages have detectable WCAG failures. It arrives late in projects, shrunk down to a checklist, handed to whoever happens to be standing closest to the code.
Yoshie and Thomas believe we deserve better. In their talk they look at accessibility through the lens of empathy: how we design, how we build, how we communicate. It's about responsibility without having to carry it alone.
