Markus Denhoff
Markus is from Duisburg and has been building things with internet and computers since 2004. He fell in love with the simplicity of Kirby since version 1 and has developed various plugins for it. In 2019, he founded reinorange, a digital agency from the Ruhr area, somewhere between IT consulting and implementation — driven by the belief that technology should serve a purpose, not become one. In his spare time, he plays cello in an orchestra and organizes concerts.

Can Kirby really handle large, multinational websites with very specialized requirements? Of course it can! We want to share our learnings from many years of building, hosting, and running large Kirby-driven websites with you.
We will cover everything from different approaches to content architecture, including market-specific content and internationalization. Let’s also talk about truly modular layouts and things like color theming and how you can be very effective by sticking to “boring” frontend architecture. Furthermore, we will also talk about hosting, running Kirby behind a load balancer, and publishing setups with separate staging servers. Join us on our survey of tackling ever more complex projects and growing as a company while sticking to Kirby as the CMS of our choice.
